Camporee

The Fall Camporee will be held in Carrollton the weekend of October 17th.-19th.

Flags

The next flag dates will be on  Columbus Day, October 13th at 6:00a.m. and 6:00 p.m. We will also do flags on Election Day, Nov. 4th at 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (this is after daylight savings time). Families and boys, please take the time to say thank you to all the businesses that support our flag fund raiser.  Next time you frequent a business that has one of our flags out on a flag day, let them know that you are a scout family and their support is very much appreciated.

 

Fund Raising

Patricia’s Receipts-  Keep collecting those Patricia’s receipts.  You can turn those in to Jerry or Barbara Long.

Flower Bulbs--order forms were handed out on September 8th. If you did not receive one, please see Jennifer Siewert. Orders and money need to be turned in by October 20th.

Popcorn--Sales began September 23rd.  If you do not get one an order form by mail, you may contact Bobbi Long (popcorn chairman). Orders and money need to be turned in by October 20th.

Christmas Wreaths--if you did not receive an order form, please see Katherine Brown. Orders and money need to be turned in by October 20th.

Haunted Trail

The annual Haunted Trail and Campout will be held on October 31st-Nov. 2nd at the Dean Farm. We will begin working on the trail Saturday morning at 8:00am. The boys should begin thinking of ideas that they want to pursue for the trail. Costumes and props are needed. Family and friends are invited to the trail on Saturday night. We will be providing chili, hotdogs and hot chocolate for everyone. The trail begins at dark.

Chili Supper

Iit will be held Friday, Dec. 5th at the Community Building. We are in need of volunteers to make chili, soup, etc. Every Scout is expected to bring a dessert and a pan of corn bread. Donated items are also needed for the auction. If you are able to help make chilis, soups, etc., please let Cheryl Watson know as soon as possible.

Ticket sales will begin in November. All money made from door ticket sales and the silent auction will be used to pay the charter.
