The next flag date will be on Flag Day, June 14th (Sunday) at 6:00a.m. and 6:00 p.m. We need to meet at the storage unit behind R and S Laundromat.
Families and boys, please take the time to say thank you to all the businesses that support our flag fund raiser. Next time you frequent a business that has one of our flags out on a flag day, let them know that you are a scout family and their support is very much appreciated.
Upcoming Events
June 25th-First Day of Camp. We will meet at the Church at 8:15am and leave at 8:30am. Don't forget to bring a sack lunch for the road trip!!
Also, when we are at camp in the dining room, you must have sleeves on and no open-toed shoes. Please bring the appropriate clothes!! No flip-flops or tank tops allowed in the dining room!

I hope we can limit the dessert that we had last year to more side dishes by doing it this way. On the chips we will keep 6 bags for lunch and 6 bags for supper so that the boys will have enough food to get them thru supper. Thanks Everyone who helps out!!!! Make sure you make enough, there will be 28 boys and 16 leaders at camp and then all there family will be at vistor Sunday.

Fund Raising
Patricia’s Receipts- Keep collecting those Patricia’s receipts. You can turn those in to Jerry or Barbara Long.
June 18, 19 and 20th at 10:00pm after the rodeo ends each night. We will help pick up trash and clear the grounds. $100.00 per night. All proceeds will go to the troop to use at camp for ice, ice cream, etc.
Camp information
We wiill be attending the third session from June 25-July 4th, 2009. We will be at Camp Sawmill at Campsite Hickory (same as 2008). Sign-up sheets are available at all Scout meetings.
If you have not filled out your health form, please get it completed as soon as possible.
We plan on meeting at the Church at 7:30am on June 25th and will be ready to go by 8:00am.
