Cub Scout Pack 120 - Odessa, Missouri

Important Dates for Adults in the Pack:

Tues – 1/14 - Pack Committee Meeting – all leaders & parents welcome. Wednesdays obviously were no good for anyone else – but the general consensus has been that Tuesday would be workable. So Tuesday it is – we definitely need participation in this meeting. We will be planning in detail the Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold Banquet, Cake Auction, and events for April through August.
Location:
Belinda’s Home – 321 E Main – 230-1698 – 7:00 pm

Wed – 1/15 – Youth Protection Training – Richmond – 7:30 pm – all leaders & assistants need to have gone through this valuable training. The title may be misleading – Youth Protection training is as much about protecting the adults as it is about protecting youth they work with. Youth Protection Training needs to be updated every two years.

Wed – 1/22 & Wed – 1/29 – Basic Leader Essentials & Cub Scout Specific Training
If you were unable to attend in October this is the next opportunity to earn your Trained patch. Training is required for earning any of the leadership knots. See Belinda for more information. (Location is in Richmond, 7:30 pm)

Tues - 2/4 - Round Table - Meet at McDonalds at 6:30 to travel to Lexington

Sat – 2/15 – Outdoor Leader Skills Training – normally this is a day & a half course – it will be completed in one long day – beginning at 7 am and going until 6 pm. Location: Sprint Warehouse – 24th St in Lexington

Important Dates for the Whole Pack:

Thurs – 1/23 – Pack Meeting – advancements need to be signed off by 1/16 in order to receive at this Pack Meeting.

Sat – 2/1 – PINEWOOD DERBY – Weigh In from 6-7 pm, Racing begins at 7 pm.

Don’t have your car yet? Purchase one at your den meeting for $5.00. Dads – buy your own car too – there will be an “Outlaw Class” for you to compete in against other dads after the main race concludes. There are different “rules” for building the Outlaw Cars… see Belinda for details!

Rescheduled - Date TBA – BLUE & GOLD BANQUET

Den Leaders & parents – the goal is to have rank completion earned by Blue & Gold Banquet (Wolf, Bear, Webelos, Arrow of Light, etc.), leaving the rest of the year to work on electives and additional Sports & Academics achievements. Work with your boys in their books to help them be on track.
