120 at the Fall Camporee in Concordia on October 3-5.

10 scouts spent the day at Powell Gardens, Greeson's
Greenhouse and the Lone Jack Battlefield Museum to work on
Landscaping and Agriculture merit badges.

Election for 2004 officers will be held. All Scout parents are
invited and encouraged to attend.
- 2004 Summer Scout Camp Draw
The draw for the date of 2004 summer scout camp at Bartle was held on Thursday, Oct. 16.
Our troop is camping Session 3 - July
4-13, 2004. A $25.00 non-refundable deposit is
due for each Scout and Leader on Monday, Oct. 13.

 Long Term
Drawing for Philmont Scout Ranch 2005 will be held in May
2004. A $200 deposit is due at draw time. Troop 120 is limited to 6
applications. Approximate cost is $750 per scout.
Applications for
National Jamboree
in 2005 at Fort A.P. Hill in Washington DC are available. Dates are
July 25 - August 5, 2005. Approximate cost is $1600-$1700 per scout.
Applications are due ASAP with a deposit of $200. More information:

We are considering a trip as a troop to Rocky Mountain National
Park for a future date. Anyone interested should definitely attend the
December hike/campout on Katy Trail to get a very basic idea of what
will be involved on a backpacking/hiking/camping trip.
Camp Draw is complete and Troop 120 will be
camping at H. Roe Bartle during 3rd session next summer from
July 4-13, 2004.
