Events

Court of Honor
Court of Honor will be held at the United Methodist Church on Monday, September 12, at 7:00 p.m. Ranks and merit badges earned at summer camp will be awarded.

Eagle Court of Honor
The Eagle Court of Honor is planned for Sunday, October 2nd, at Calvary Baptist at 2:00 p.m.

Looking Ahead....

  • October 15th-16th Mission Impossible Camporee (Lexington). We will be leaving at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

  • October 22nd Work Day for the Haunted Trail at the Dean Farm 10:00-2:00. Bring sack lunch.
  • October 28th-30th Haunted Trail
    at the Dean Farm.
  • Week of November 14th
    Wreaths come in.
  • November 19th A lock in is being planned for the boys at McQuerry. More details to come.
  • November 26th & 27th Campout at Bartle (need feedback from parents).
  • December 2nd
    Chili supper fund raiser. At Calvary Baptist.
  • December 31st
    Campout on the Katy Trail. (Need feedback from parents).
 

 

Summer Camp Draw Coming Up
Please check your calendars for the following dates for summer camp sessions. We will need to decide on our 1st, 2nd & 3rd choice for session dates at the October 17 meeting.

July 20-Aug 8

Dues
You should be receiving an update on the dues that you have paid for this year. Dues are $2 every regular meeting night. If you are behind, please make arrangements to get them caught up.

Dues are very important. They help pay for miscellaneous expenses such a gas for the buses, merit badges, rank advancements, and outings for the boys where the troop pays.

If you have any questions about dues you may contact Bobbi Long.

Flags
Flag dates are set for fall. Please be there at 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

September 11
Oct. 10th- Columbus Day
Nov. 11th- Veterans’ Day

Fund Raising
The troop is selling popcorn and wreaths again for our fall fundraisers. Forms will be going home soon.

We will also be holding our annual chili supper on Dec. 2nd.
